Kind of sad right now that I selected something difficult to study. The last “average” on an exam was 125 out of 150. That’s because the class is ~40 strong, it’s curved, the material is dense and because of the aforementioned, those who decide to remain in the class are basically the cream of the crop. I know this material better than the people I study with but sadly it won’t be enough to secure me an A+. If I get anything less than 100% I will be devastated and my life will be ruined. I just want to do as best as I can but I can’t reconcile with IT with my moral nihilism. In times like this I turn to Sam Harris who once said, “religion is the reason why you’re so guilty and then feel bad about not doing well and it’s rude and the source of every problem ever.” It makes sense right now.
